Creating a beautiful body requires an effort. Most people are under the impression that celebrities are blessed with great looks and great bodies. If they are not blessed, they could go to the nearest plastic surgeon to fix things. While that may be so with some celebrities, most still have to earn their bodies the old fashion way. They have to work at it.

Jessica Alba was voted in as the top 100 most wanted sexy bodies not long ago. Here is an overview of the Jessica Alba diet.

Jessica Alba Diet

The Jessica Alba diet is centered around portion control. This one step alone can make a big difference in anyone’s weight loss attempts. Most people do not realize that they are overeating. The best thing to do is to cut your plate size. Research has shown that using a 9 inch plate can help you in controlling your portions.

The Jessica Alba diet is also heavily inclined towards low-carbohydrates. She is careful about the carbohydrates consumed and generally omits simple carbs.

Nevertheless, she does indulge her cravings once in a while. Having cheat meals is an acceptable practise provided you are disciplined with your diet and exercise for the rest of the week.

Jessica Alba Workout

She typically works out for 45 minutes to an hour, each day.  She starts with the treadmill or elliptical machine. She does this for 15 minutes to get the heartbeat up. The cardio is done at an intense pace to rev up the heart rate. Some experts suggest that starting with intense cardio signals the body to start releasing fat from its stores. The body becomes primed for fat burning.

She also does lots of cardio exercises with weight resistance training. A curvaceous body needs to be carved out with the proper diet and exercise.

Water for Weight Loss

Water is an essential nutrient to facilitate cell metabolism. An efficient cell metabolism helps with fat burning. Jessica Alba is known to drink 2 to 3 litres of water a day

    There’s an interesting post over at the Health Journal Club that makes the case that people should just not eat anything that wasn’t a food 100 years ago. Gets rid of the aspartame, bleached GM flour, high fructose corn syrup garbage they try to pass off as food these days. If interested you can read on it here,
